The Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) confirmed this closure is part of the routine bridge maintenance dance, necessary to ensure the structure remains safe and sound for those travels we all depend on. The detour will reroute traffic via Lake Palourde By-Pass Road, the stretch of US 90, and LA 662, so plan accordingly.
