Michael Lohan, father of actress Lindsay Lohan, has been arrested again, this time for a probation violation, and is currently held at Palm Beach County Jail. He was booked yesterday at 5:18 p.m. by Palm Beach County sheriff's deputies, according to Local 10 News.
Lohan’s legal troubles stem from his previous actions, including an arrest in April 2021 for patient brokering. He was accused of accepting payments for referring patients to Pride Recovery Center in Delray Beach. As president of Lola Recovery Ventures, Lohan was linked to nine checks related to this referral scheme.
Lohan has a history of legal issues, including a February 2021 arrest by the Harris County Sheriff's Office in Texas for family assault strangulation and other charges related to his family, as reported by CBS12.
Details regarding the probation violation have not been publicly released, and speculation about the nature of the violation continues. However, the checks linked to Lohan and Lola Recovery totaled $27,750, confirming his involvement in the illegal referral scheme for which he was convicted on five counts.
Lohan remains at the Palm Beach County Main Detention Center, and his bond court appearance is scheduled for Monday.
