A man has been arrested and charged in connection with a stabbing incident in Manchester, New Hampshire, according to the local police department. The stabbing, which took place last week, resulted in a man sustaining non-life-threatening injuries after a reported altercation in a truck.
As described in a Facebook post by Manchester NH Police, on the evening of March 12, the victim was riding with two men when one of them, later identified as 39-year-old Deon Harris, supposedly became agitated. Pulling into a parking lot, the suspect, leaning in through the open passenger side window during the attempt of the victim to calm him down, ended up stabbing him.
Following hospital treatment, the authorities commenced an investigation that led to the identification and arrest of Harris. He was found and arrested by Manchester Police yesterday, and has been charged with First Degree Assault.
Deon Harris is presently set for arraignment, which will take place today in Manchester Circuit Court, as stated in the police announcement. The Manchester Police disclosed this information in a recent update on their official Facebook page, amidst the ongoing proceedings surrounding the case.
