The Medway Police Department is currently investigating the discovery of a deceased man found in a park, after he was reported missing earlier in the day. According to a social media post by the Medway Police Department, the search was launched at about 10:50 a.m. in a wooded area off Choate Park in Medway. Roughly two hours later, at around 12:50 p.m., officers located a deceased adult male who was identified as the person reported missing.

While precise details surrounding the man's death are yet to be released, officials note that this type of incident is considered an "unattended death" and, as such, will be thoroughly investigated. The inquiry involves Medway detectives, the State Police assigned to the Norfolk District Attorney’s office, and the state Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. Chief of Police William H. Kingsbury confirmed the ongoing investigation and advised that further inquiries be directed to the Norfolk County District Attorney’s Office.
