Miami residents are experiencing the coolest temperatures since late January, with some areas dipping into the high 40s. According to NBC Miami, as the north breeze weakens, the day will warm up, with sunny skies and highs reaching the upper 70s.
A significant warm-up is expected as winds shift to the south and southwest this weekend, potentially bringing record heat by Sunday, NBC Miami reports.
As per the National Weather Service, current temperatures are around 57°F with a few clouds, and Saturday will see a high near 81°F, along with rising humidity.
Sunday will be hotter and more humid, with a high of 87°F and partly cloudy skies. Monday will bring scattered storms with a 30% chance of rain, cooling things down to around 79°F.
Looking into early next week, South Florida should expect a 50% chance of showers and thunderstorms, with temperatures staying in the lower 80s. By Monday night, skies will clear, and sunny days will follow, with highs in the upper 70s and overnight lows between 59°F and 68°F, according to the National Weather Service.
