A red flag warning is in effect from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
As per the NBC Miami report, Thursday will experience gusts reaching 25-30 mph. Winds will shift from the south to the southwest ahead of the cold front, which will bring a significant temperature drop overnight, with lows in the upper 50s and continued dry conditions.
After the cold front passes, Miami will experience breezy conditions and low humidity. The weather will remain sunny, with temperatures in the mid to upper 70s, which will feel warm in the sun but cooler in the shade.
Skies will stay mostly clear. Friday is expected to be sunny with a high around 72°F, and north winds gusting up to 21 mph. The night will be mostly clear with temperatures around 60°F. The weekend will bring similar weather with sunny days and partly cloudy nights, and Sunday will see a high of 78°F with east winds at 6 to 10 mph, according to the NWS.
Looking ahead to next week, temperatures in Miami will gradually rise, and the chance of rain will increase, offering some relief from the dry weather.
