Some residents of Miami-Dade County will see changes to their recycling pickup schedule starting in April. These changes aim to improve the efficiency of the service and address contamination issues, as stated in the Miami-Dade County announcement.
The changes include new pickup days for certain neighborhoods. Residents will receive an updated recycling calendar in the mail, outlining the new collection days for the rest of the year. Carts must be placed at the curb by 7 a.m. to avoid missing the collection and should be retrieved once the recyclables are cleared.
Residents can also access their designated recycling day by visiting a dedicated website or by calling 311.
