Miami-Dade County’s District 11 small businesses can apply for the 2025 Mom and Pop Small Business Grant Program, offering grants up to $1,620 to help with expenses such as exterior renovations or marketing efforts.

According to the Miami-Dade County release, to qualify, businesses must be located in District 11, have been operating since January, and be in good financial standing. A physical location is required, including home-based businesses that are properly registered with the County, City, and State. Projects that stand out are encouraged to apply.

Applications open on Monday and will close on April 11. Completed forms must be submitted between April 14, and April 18 before 4 p.m. Applications can be submitted online through the District 11 website or in person at the Commissioner's office.

A workshop on how to apply will be held at the Kendale Lakes Branch Library at 6 p.m. on Thursday next week. For more information, contact Victoria Goss from NANA at 305-756-0605.
