Residents of Miami-Dade County are preparing for the 11th annual "Meet at the Bridge" event at Arch Creek Park on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. As per the Miami-Dade County release, the event will offer a variety of educational and recreational activities for all ages, including guided nature hikes, arts and crafts, a mock archaeological dig, and archery for participants aged 9 and older. According to the Miami-Dade County website, one of the highlights of the event will be a plant propagation workshop led by Corinne Mariposa, Director and Founder of Miami Seed Share. Participants will learn how to grow plants and can take home up to 15 different types, including native, edible, and medicinal varieties. Historian Seth Bramson will also present "The Florida East Coast Railway: For More Than 125 Years, America’s Speedway to Sunshine," discussing the railway's role in shaping Florida’s development.

The event will also feature food vendors offering local culinary delights, creating an enjoyable experience for attendees. The event aims to celebrate both community engagement and the park’s rich history.
