Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office deputies are investigating a fatal shooting in the Northside district that left one man dead and another injured. The incident occurred yesterday at approximately 11:24 A.M. at NW 88th Street and NW 23rd Avenue. Deputies found an adult male on the ground with gunshot wounds, and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue pronounced him dead at the scene, as per the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office release.
The second victim, also with a gunshot wound, transported himself to a local hospital. Detectives have not confirmed the connection between the two men, but an interview with the surviving victim may provide more clarity. The identity of the deceased has not been released, and investigators are still searching for the shooter.
