Miami-Dade commuters should note upcoming changes to Metrobus service starting Monday next week. The Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW) is making adjustments to improve service efficiency and reliability across five primary routes: 17, 24, 100, 101, and 104/104A.
As per the Miami-Dade County release, the DTPW is also updating schedules on 30 routes to improve system reliability. These changes are part of the department’s efforts to meet the needs of Miami-Dade’s residents and ensure access to key destinations.
Notable changes include the discontinuation of route 17A, extending all trips of route 100 to the Aventura Mall Terminal, and rerouting northbound trips of route 101 for better transfers at 41st Street and Alton Road. Route 104/104A will be realigned to replace the discontinued MetroLink Killian route, with route 104 continuing along SW 107 Ave.
Due to a nationwide bus operator shortage, the DTPW is adjusting its resources to maintain service consistency. Commuters can stay updated by visiting the Service Updates page or signing up for Rider Alerts.
