
Residents of Miami are experiencing cooler temperatures this week, with readings more than 10 degrees lower than the previous morning, dropping into the upper 50s in some areas. According to the National Weather Service's forecast, today's weather will feature sunny skies and a high near 78, with a north wind gusting up to 23 mph.
This cooler trend is expected to be short-lived. Temperatures are forecasted to gradually rise, with mornings warming into the 60s starting Thursday, and highs reaching the 80s. NBC Miami report states that afternoon temperatures are expected to rise and reach the upper-70s.
The forecast for the rest of the week remains similar, with sunny skies and rising temperatures. Wednesday will remain sunny, with low humidity and afternoon highs near 80 degrees. This pattern is expected to continue through the weekend.
By Friday, temperatures will rise further, with a high near 81. The National Weather Service reports that the wind will remain calm, shifting to a southeast direction at 5 to 8 mph in the afternoon. Friday night will have a low around 71, with southeast winds at approximately 7 mph.
For the weekend, high temperatures are expected to reach 81 on Saturday and 83 on Sunday. The sun will remain in the forecast, although there is a 20 percent chance of showers Sunday night into Monday.
