The City of Miami Department of Solid Waste is hosting a community e-waste drive-thru event on March 29 at Regatta Park. The free event will run from 9 AM to 2 PM, offering Miami residents a chance to dispose of unwanted electronics in an environmentally responsible way.
According to the City of Miami, residents can drop off electronic items, batteries, and light bulbs. The event can handle items of various sizes, from small devices to larger electronics. The city encourages people to bring items like fluorescent lights, industrial batteries, and anything containing mercury.
For more details or questions about accepted items, residents can email [email protected]. Additional information is available on the city’s Zero Waste website.
