A motorcycle incident on Saturday afternoon in Cary left one man hospitalized with moderate to serious injuries. As reported by FOX 32 Chicago, the accident occurred just after 1:30 p.m. near Rawson Bridge Road and Valley Drive. Upon their arrival, the Cary Fire Protection District found the man by the road's south shoulder. The injured man was subsequently transported to Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington.
"Paramedics treated the man, who was conscious and alert," detailed a statement by the Cary fire officials, as per FOX 32 Chicago. Meanwhile, two other motorcyclists who were with him at the time of the crash were unharmed. The cause of the crash is being probed by the Oakwood Hills Police Department, with no further details disclosed at this time.
In conjunction with details from The Daily Herald, Cary Fire Protection District Public Information Officer Alex Vucha confirmed that emergency crews responded shortly after the call at 1:37 p.m. Saturday. "Crews arrived and found an injured man on the south shoulder of the road, and paramedics quickly began treatment," Vucha said.
The investigation for the inciting causes of the crash remains ongoing, according to information from the Oakwood Hills Police Department, and updates are expected as the inquiry progresses.
