
The Fort Lauderdale Police Department is investigating after a body was found in a local waterway today. Authorities were notified and arrived at the scene near the 1600 block of West Broward Boulevard shortly after noon, according to Local 10.
Upon discovering the body, which had not been identified, police officers and detectives began searching the area for evidence and leads. No additional details about the victim were released. A white tarp was placed over the bod at around 1:15 p.m. near a wooded area by the waterway.
