Juliet police officer on patrol made a noteworthy discovery leading to the arrest of a 29-year-old Nashville man on a plethora of charges, including felony warrants and drug possession. The bizarre situation commenced when the officer spotted a Honda Accord bearing a license plate registered to a different vehicle, a Ford F-150. The astute observation was noted in a social media post from the Mt. Juliet Police Department.

According to the post, when the driver was signaled to pull over, he continued driving for an extended distance into Nashville before complying with the officer’s request, leading to a traffic stop that uncovered more than just an improperly displayed license plate. The driver, whose identity has not been disclosed, harbored active felony warrants for Fraud, Theft, and Forgery, related to stolen checks totaling in the neighborhood of $10,000.
During the search of the suspect's vehicle, amounts of methamphetamine were found, along with drug paraphernalia and the remaining stolen checks, some already bearing the suspect's name. The police lauded the significant seizure, stating, "Thanks to our officer’s attentiveness, a suspect involved in serious financial crimes and drug activity is now in custody."
