The saga of the stolen Chevrolet Silverado in New Hampshire continues after State Police located the vehicle but are still on the hunt for the suspect who led them on a high-speed chase. According to official reports, the black 2014 pickup was found abandoned. Authorities are now releasing a surveillance image to the public, hoping to identify the individual responsible for the theft and subsequent pursuit.
The ordeal began on Monday, when the Epsom Police Department reported the stolen vehicle from Cumberland Farms on Route 4. State Troopers from the Troop D and Troop G barracks spotted the truck and attempted to pull it over, which led to an extended chase through multiple towns. The pursuit was eventually called off near Salisbury due to deteriorating weather conditions, and the vehicle was last seen traveling westbound on Route 4 toward Andover.
A new surveillance image has been shared with the public in an effort to track down the mystery driver. Trooper Christopher Abbate has been designated as the point of contact, urging anyone with knowledge of the person in the photo to get in touch. "Anyone who recognizes the person in the image is asked to contact Trooper Christopher Abbate at (603) 451-9319 or [email protected]," the State Police conveyed in a news release.
