The New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) is reaching out to the public for assistance in identifying a suspect linked to a series of business burglaries in their Seventh District. As stated by the NOPD, the individual was caught on security footage yesterday, at approximately 4:58 a.m. during a burglary at a location on the 7000 block of Bullard Avenue. The image of the suspect has been disseminated in hopes that citizens may provide crucial information leading to the suspect's capture.
These are not isolated incidents. Investigators are convinced that this same suspect is responsible for at least three additional burglaries in the recent fortnight. The pattern suggests a predilection for cartons of cigarettes, frequently pilfered during these criminal acts.
The NOPD has expressed an imperative need for community cooperation in this matter. Anyone with information that could lead to the identification or apprehension of the suspect is encouraged to come forward.
