The Manchester Police Department responded to the scene around 4 PM after receiving a report about the discovery. This has led to a suspicious death investigation, led by Attorney General John M. An autopsy was performed by Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Jennie V. Duval, but the cause and manner of death are still undetermined, pending further tests. The identity of the baby remains unknown.
