
Tragedy struck Manchester, New Hampshire, on Thursday when the body of a newborn girl was found floating in Pine Island Pond. The Manchester Police Department responded to the scene around 4 PM after receiving a report about the discovery. This has led to a suspicious death investigation, led by Attorney General John M. Formella and Police Chief Peter A. Marr, as stated in a Manchester NH Police Facebook post.
An autopsy was performed by Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Jennie V. Duval, but the cause and manner of death are still undetermined, pending further tests. The identity of the baby remains unknown.
