Tylar Londyn Palmer, a 21-year-old woman, succumbed to her injuries following a head-on crash that took place at approximately 12:07 a.m. on Saturday. According to KUTV, the accident occurred on the 3000 block of Harrison Boulevard when a silver Ford Focus, heading northbound, veered across the median and collided with a southbound Ford F350. Palmer, who was a passenger in the Ford Focus, was transported to a local hospital, where she later passed away from her injuries.
As reported by KSL, the driver of the Ford Focus, also a 21-year-old woman, had to be extricated from the vehicle by emergency responders before being taken to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Ogden Police Lt. Will Farr informed that impairment might be a factor in the crash, urging anyone with information to reach out to the traffic unit. Farr revealed, "Police are investigating impairment as a factor in the crash," highlighting the ongoing search for details that might illuminate the moments leading to this fateful event.
A collective investigation effort is underway involving the Weber/Morgan CRASH Team, which is looking into the specifics of the incident to ascertain potential causes.
