The Oregon Transportation Commission (OTC) is convening this Thursday, March 13, at a crisp 9 a.m. for its regular meet-up. For those who like to be in the know, the gig's happening in the Gail Achterman Conference Room of the Salem Transportation Building, sitting at 355 Capitol Street NE.
The agenda is full, with a focus on updates about transportation funding for the 2025 legislative session. There will also be reports on bridge and pavement conditions, which should catch the attention of anyone who's driven on Oregon's roads. They’ll finish up a strategic review from last spring and share news on the Statewide Transportation Improvement Fund grants for 2025-2027.
The OTC will approve or reject changes to projects in the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program during the March quarterly updates. For those unable to attend in person, meeting materials are available on the OTC website. The March 7 post provides detailed information for anyone wanting to stay informed on the state’s transportation updates.
