Silun was reported missing after leaving his apartment and last seen near 9 Leicester Street in Oxford. According to a Facebook post by the Oxford Police Department, there is a possibility that he could become violent if approached and thus, they have cautioned the public to not engage but to instead contact local authorities if he is sighted.
Silun, who does not own a vehicle, is believed to be navigating his way on foot. The police described him as last seen last Friday, wearing a blue puffy jacket and grey sweatpants. The community has been reassured that there is no general risk to public safety. It was his mother who filed the missing person report, expressing deep concerns for his well-being—a sentiment echoed by the department in their communication. This highlights the vital need to not only find Silun but also to reflect on the broader systemic support often required for individuals with mental health conditions.
