Palm Beach County has dedicated March as Florida Bicycle Month to celebrate cycling, promote health, and encourage eco-friendly transportation. The Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners, along with local agencies, is working together to make cycling more accessible to residents and visitors.

As per the Palm Beach Couinty website, the Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department, Palm Beach Transportation Planning Agency (TPA), County Engineering, and Palm Tran are collaborating to increase cycling awareness and accessibility. The county offers many bike trails, mountain biking options, and hand cycles for adults with physical disabilities. The Okeeheelee BMX facility and a new bicycle pump track under construction add to the county's biking options.

"Bicycling is an excellent way for residents and visitors to stay active, connect with nature, and explore our parks and trails," said Jennifer Cirillo, Director of Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation, in the Palm Beach County release. "This month is a great reminder of our ongoing efforts to make cycling safe, fun, and accessible in Palm Beach County."

Florida Bicycle Month will feature events aimed at promoting cycling and encouraging a healthier, more sustainable lifestyle. With over 50 miles of scenic bike trails, three mountain biking trails, and various biking amenities, Palm Beach County is positioning itself as a top cycling destination in Florida.
