
Residents of Pembroke Pines will celebrate the city's 65th Anniversary on April 26 at the Charles F. Dodge City Center. The event, themed "Lighting Up the World," will run from 5 pm to 9 pm, featuring large arcade attractions and highlighting the city’s cultural diversity, as per the City of Pembroke Pines website.
The celebration will include LED-powered games like See-Saws, Giant Lite Brite, Mini Golf, and Domino tables, offering a family-friendly atmosphere. Children will receive a passport to explore seven arts and crafts stations, adding a creative element to the event. The Glow Lounge will feature an LED Dance floor where guests can enjoy various dance styles, including Samba, Salsa, Flamenco, and Disco.
The City of Pembroke Pines will also host a Cultural Connection Market, offering goods from around the world, and Food Truck Row, featuring international food options. The Birthday Stage will feature local choruses and dance performances. At 8:30 pm, over 1,000 decorated cupcakes will be distributed, followed by a premier Drone Show lighting up the night sky.
