Queen Creek's Environmental Services Division will host a free Cardboard Box Car “Drive-in” Movie event on April 4. Residents can watch "The Wild Robot" from their homemade cardboard box cars. The event begins with free popcorn and water at 6:30 p.m., followed by the movie at sunset, around 7:15 p.m., according to the Town of Queen Creek.
Residents are encouraged to build their own “box cars” using cardboard and recyclable materials as part of Queen Creek's Earth Month activities. For registration details and ideas for creating these cardboard vehicles, visit QueenCreekAZ.gov. The website also provides Earth Month resources, including a trails scavenger hunt, a recycling event, and landscape watering workshops throughout April, as reported by the Town of Queen Creek.
Queen Creek's Earth Month event will feature "The Wild Robot," a story about a robot learning to coexist with nature, promoting environmental education for all ages. Attendees can share their experiences using the hashtag #QCEarthMonth. For more information, contact Constance Halonen-Wilson at 480-358-3195 or [email protected], as stated by the Town of Queen Creek.
