An urgent Amber Alert has been issued by the Salt Lake City Police Department for a missing 2-year-old boy, identified only as Ezekiel. According to Salt Lake City Police Department, authorities are asking for the community's immediate assistance in locating the child, who was last seen with his non-custodial mother, Sandra Torres, on Friday morning.

Ezekiel was reported missing after not being returned by his mother following an arranged temporary visit. Torres, 32, without legal custody and a past marked by drug abuse, has raised concerns due to a history that includes allegations of self-harm and potential physical abuse. The boy was reportedly wearing a black Spider-Man sweater, gray sweatpants, and black shoes at the last sighting. Torres was last observed in all gray clothing, a 170-pound woman standing at 5’2″, with black hair, brown eyes, and adorned with multiple tattoos.

The Department's information indicates that Torres may be driving a gray Hyundai, although specifics about the vehicle's license plate remain unknown. Initial leads suggest that Torres and the toddler might be found in the vicinity of West High School, however, no confirmation has yet been made. The authorities have also made it known that both the mother and child may primarily speak Spanish. The community is being urged to report any sightings or information directly by calling 9-1-1, as time is a critical factor in the safe recovery of the child.
