Travelers flying out of Nashville International Airport (BNA) can expect more options as Spirit Airlines adds six new nonstop destinations. Starting in May, Spirit will offer flights to Cleveland, Chicago, Kansas City, Milwaukee, Myrtle Beach, and San Antonio. According to WKRN, this brings Spirit's total service from BNA to 20 destinations with 19 peak-day departures expected by May.

"Music City knows how to put on a show and attract visitors all year long, and now it will be easier to get great value for their flights to Nashville with the launch of Spirit’s newest routes to BNA," John Kirby, Vice President of Network Planning told WKRN. He also noted that Spirit now provides Nashville locals with more high-value options for popular destinations with nine new routes to choose from.

According to FOX 17, flights to Cleveland and San Antonio will begin on May 8, with other routes starting on May 9. Baltimore flights will operate four times a week, while other routes will run twice a week.

This expansion is part of a broader plan by Nashville International Airport to increase passenger traffic, which is expected to rise from an average of 70,000 daily this year to over 100,000 by 2035, as reported by The Tennessean. To support this growth, BNA has been adding new routes every month and plans to launch at least 20 new routes this year, connecting Nashville to both domestic and international destinations.

In March, five new routes will also debut as part of the airport’s expansion to meet the increasing demand for travel.
