Authorities in Southwest Miami-Dade are investigating a shooting that occurred last night at Glades Club, a local bar in the Redland community. NBC Miami reports that emergency teams arrived to find three victims, with one airlifted to the hospital under trauma alert.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue confirmed their response to the shooting at the bar. A bar employee recalled that a man, upset, retrieved a gun from his car and opened fire, hitting a bar regular and an employee. The employee told CBS News that friends of the shooter managed to subdue him until police arrived.
The Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office is leading the investigation. The suspected shooter is in police custody, but his identity has not been released.
