
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating an armed robbery incident that occurred at the Godfather’s Pizza in Aloha, as reported by KOIN. Deputies arrived at the establishment located on SW Farmington Road just before 9 p.m. on Sunday, March 16, following the report of the crime, with the suspect reportedly still at large as of the latest updates.
Additionally, officials from the Beaverton Police Department were called to assist in the case, and despite an extensive search that included the deployment of a K9 unit and a drone the suspect managed to vanish, likely having fled in a vehicle prior to the law enforcement's arrival, this according to what authorities have shared with KATU.
The investigation is ongoing, with efforts made to gather more information and locate the suspect, as evidenced by the release of a surveillance image by the Washington County Sheriff's Office. No injuries were reported in conjunction with the robbery, providing some solace amidst the distressing event that disrupted the quietude of the Aloha community.
