Yesterday, Ronnie Dean Lewis, a man no stranger to law enforcement, found himself in cuffs once more. Texas deputies, working under Constable Mark Herman's jurisdiction, pulled over Lewis's vehicle on the 7800 block of S. Sam Houston Pkwy W. During the stop, deputies uncovered a litany of open warrants for charges including possession of marijuana, resisting an officer, as well as possession of promethazine and funds believed to be tied to drug sales, as reported by the Harris County Constable’s Office.

Further digging tied Lewis to a robbery charge out of the Glendale Police Department, and yet another out of the Los Angeles Police Department. Unfortunately, confirmation of the warrants proved elusive at the time of his arrest. This wasn't Lewis's first tango with the law; back in 2024, officials arrested him for a heist that looted over $94,000 from an ATM—a sum that was fully recovered by the authorities.

The saga didn't end with Lewis behind bars in 2024. While in custody, he faced additional charges from Bellaire Police Department for a burglary, which involved breaking into a car moments after its owner visited a local bank. The repeat offender's luck had not improved by the time of his latest brush with the law.

"Ronnie Lewis was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for the open warrants.  His Bond was set at $5,000.00 out of County Court 10," Constable Mark Herman's office stated in a post on Precinct 4's official Facebook page.
