A tragic e-bike collision occurred in Jupiter, Florida last night, resulting in one juvenile's death and another critically injured. According to CBS12, the incident took place near Indian Creek Parkway and South Pennock Lane around 7:50 p.m. The Jupiter Police Department responded to find two boys on the e-bike when they were struck by a vehicle.
First responders confirmed that one of the boys was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other was rushed to the hospital as a trauma alert, as detailed by the Palm Beach County Fire Rescue. The vehicle's driver also sustained minor injuries and received medical attention. The ages of the two boys have not been disclosed, and the crash remains under investigation.
WPBF confirmed that this is the fourth deadly bicycle-related crash in just four days. Indian Creek Parkway was shut down from Military Trail to Central Boulevard after the accident, with travelers advised to seek alternative routes.
