Early Monday morning, a head-on collision on Route 17 near Toquerville resulted in two individuals being hospitalized. KSLTV reports that the incident occurred around 7 a.m., with the Hurricane Valley Fire District responding to the scene.
The first responders worked to extricate both individuals from their mangled vehicles, after which, they were promptly sent to different hospitals for medical attention. According to KUTV, one victim was transported to St. George Regional Hospital in serious condition, the other suffered minor injuries and was taken to the Hurricane Emergency Department.
