The City of West Palm Beach is partnering with Roundtree Training & Consulting LLC to launch a new Business Accelerator Bootcamp, designed to support local entrepreneurs. Starting June 3, the four-week program will be held at Gaines Park with in-person and virtual sessions every Tuesday from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m, according to the City of West Palm Beach website.
Dr. Deeawn Roundtree, a leadership expert from Roundtree Training & Consulting, will lead the bootcamp. Entrepreneurs will gain insights on business development and financial planning, with guidance from Dr. Roundtree to help improve leadership and management skills.
The bootcamp will cover various topics, starting with self-awareness and goal setting in the first session, followed by a focus on digital trends like social media marketing. The program will also address business plans, funding, and accounting practices, with a pitch contest at the end.
Mayor Keith A. James expressed excitement about the program, stating, "We are thrilled to collaborate with Roundtree Training & Consulting LLC to offer this impactful program to our community," in a City of West Palm Beach release. He emphasized that the Bootcamp aligns with the City's efforts to support entrepreneurship and economic growth in West Palm Beach.
