Tragedy struck on SR-6 this past Sunday, when a 34-year-old West Valley man lost his life in a motorcycle accident. According to Utah Department of Public Safety, Robert Taylor Anderson was riding his Harley-Davidson eastward near MP 143 when he crossed into oncoming traffic around 1:48 pm.
Official reports suggest that the motorcycle veered over the double yellow line on a sharp turn, leading to a head-on collision with a Ford F-350. Pronounced deceased at the scene, Anderson's untimely death brings to light the potential hazards motorcyclists face on this particular stretch of road.
