
The Weymouth Police Department successfully seized a significant amount of drugs and money from a residence on Lee Street during an operation on last Thursday. The Weymouth Police Narcotics Unit, with assistance from neighboring agencies, found crack cocaine, cocaine, amphetamines, gabapentin pills, a cell phone, and $2,512 in cash, as per the Weymouth Police Department Facebook post.
Thirty-year-old Ashley Smith of the Lee Street address faces multiple charges, including possession with intent to distribute Class B substances. She is scheduled for arraignment at Quincy District Court yesterday. The search, which took place around 1:35 PM, followed an extensive investigation involving the Weymouth, Braintree, and Norfolk County Sheriff's Office units, with a K-9 unit assisting in locating the narcotics and making the arrest.
