
Early this morning, a woman was hospitalized after being shot in a northwest Miami-Dade neighborhood, prompting an investigation by the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office (MDSO). Local 10 News reports the shooting occurred in the 900 block of Northwest 141st Street, with Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responding to the scene just after 3:45 a.m. Deputies later arrived to secure the area.
The victim was taken to HCA Florida Aventura Hospital as a trauma alert and is now in stable condition. MDSO has not provided details about the shooter. The area was marked with crime scene tape, and a piece of clothing was seen on the ground outside a home. A neighbor told Local 10 News that he did not hear anything overnight but found deputies in the morning.
WSVN reported that the motives behind the shooting and further details on the victim’s condition remain unclear.
