A theft at The Gun Parlor on Prescott Street has led to the arrest of a 27-year-old male from North Brookfield, authorities announced. Worcester Police responded to an alarm at the gun store last Saturday, where a man reportedly smashed a display case and made off with a firearm before fleeing on foot then escaping in a vehicle parked nearby. Worcester Police Department (Official) detailed the incident in a Facebook post confirming the reports.
Through what is described as intensive detective work, Worcester Police, with help from the Spencer Police Department, the Massachusetts State Police, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, located and arrested the suspect, Mohsin Mohsin, in the town of Spencer yesterday. He now faces charges of Larceny of a Firearm, Carrying a Firearm Without a License to Carry and Breaking Into a Depository/Safe/Vault, the latter, being an unexpected outcome considering the brazen daylight theft.
