Anoka County's annual Career Fair is slated to take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m on April 9th at Anoka Technical College, located at 1355 U.S. Hwy. 10 in Anoka. Open and free to the public, the event promises to connect attendees with over 110 exhibitors from various industries. Individuals looking to make inroads in sectors such as construction, education, government, and healthcare – to name just a few – can anticipate opportunities to engage with professionals and organizations eager to hire.
"Hiring events like this one, sponsored by the Anoka County Job Training Center and Anoka Technical College, offer opportunities to connect with employers and learn about jobs in a way that just isn’t available when you’re searching and applying for jobs online," District 4 Anoka County Commissioner Scott Schulte told, with experience on the county’s Workforce Development Board, highlighting the event's annual success in aiding community members to find their right professional fit. The fair not only serves as a networking platform but also acts as a beacon for those navigating the often impersonal landscape of online job applications.
Providing additional support and resources, event partners include the Anoka County Job Training Center, Anoka-Ramsey Community College, Career Force, and Bob FM. For attendees driving to Anoka Technical College, parking arrangements have already been made available around the campus. In case individuals require certain accommodations to attend the event, they have been encouraged to reach out by calling 763-576-7950.
Amidst the serious business of career building, those attending can also indulge in a bit of leisure with food available for purchase from Maggie’s Mini Donuts and Philicious Philly’s Food Truck.
