According to the alert, the reported incidents occurred while victims were in the process of making food deliveries. The unknown assailants, reported as two African American males, approached the victims with a handgun and demanded their possessions before fleeing on foot.
The specific incidents took place on the 6800 block of S. Perry, with one occurring on March 30, 2025, around 4:47 a.m. and a previous crime happening last Saturday, at approximately 5:51 a.m. The offenders were described as wearing black ski masks and black hooded sweatshirts. Offender #1 was noted to be wearing white pants, while Offender #2 was in black jeans and bore a handgun. This information was detailed in an official statement released by the Chicago Police Department.
The Chicago PD has recommended that residents always remain vigilant of their surrounding and report any suspicious activities immediately.
