
The Chicago community has been prompted to come together in the search for Mr. Kevin Thornton, a 68-year-old man who was reported missing nearly a year ago. According to the Chicago Police Department, Thornton, who is described as a black male with a dark complexion, bald, standing at 6 feet tall, and weighing 150 pounds, was last seen by his family on June 19, 2024, inside his residence on the 5000 block of W. Huron.
The urgency in finding Thornton has his family and authorities pleading for any information from the public that might lead to his whereabouts. Since his disappearance, described wearing unknown clothing, the case has been assigned to the Area Four Special Victims Unit.
Earlier on Sunday, the Chicago Police issued an official missing person alert, circulating his information widely in hopes of generating new leads.
