
Community members and law enforcement are currently on high alert after the report of a missing teenager, Kaylin Murphy, who was last seen over a month ago. According to an alert from the Chicago Police Department, 17-year-old Kaylin was last spotted in the vicinity of the 8200 block of S. Green on March 20, 2025. The Chicago Police have requested that anyone with information come forward to assist in locating the young woman.
Kaylin Murphy is described as an African American female, with a height of 5 feet 6 inches, a weight of around 140 pounds, brown eyes, and black hair tied in a ponytail. At the time she went missing, she was wearing a white T-shirt, light blue jeans, and a black hooded sweatshirt, carrying a pink purse.
The Chicago Police Department's Area Two SVU Detectives have taken the lead in this case, working closely with family and residents to uncover any clues that might provide answers.
