
The Chicago Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying four individuals involved in an incident that occurred on April 11, 2025, at approximately 4:30 p.m. on the 2800 block of West Lake Street, near the CTA Green Line.
According to a community alert issued by the 12th District, four male suspects were captured on surveillance and are believed to be connected to the event. The alert includes specific physical descriptions and clothing details to aid identification. The suspects include a light-complexioned Black male with a face tattoo, a medium-complexioned Black male wearing a dark jacket and white shirt with a logo, a dark-complexioned Black male wearing a letterman-style "New York" jacket, and another dark-complexioned Black male with locs and a red backpack.
The department is encouraging transit users to remain aware of their surroundings and to pay attention to important details such as train car numbers, travel direction, and identifying features of individuals. In the event of suspicious activity, the public is advised not to approach suspects but to use onboard emergency buttons, notify transit staff, and contact 911 immediately. Authorities stress that providing clear descriptions and remaining on the scene when safe can be vital to ongoing investigations.
