A 24-year-old man has been arrested following an altercation in a Doral restaurant parking lot that left another man in critical condition. Jorge Zubigaray faces charges of attempted felony murder and strong-arm robbery after allegedly punching Carlos Mena, also 24, in a dispute over shoes outside Twin Peaks restaurant on Thursday last week. Mena was found unresponsive after the attack and later taken to the hospital with a brain bleed, as WSVN reported.

According to witnesses, the two men had argued earlier in the day before the confrontation. Zubigaray, identified by his name and nickname "Zubi," turned himself in at the Doral Police Department with his attorney, according to Local 10. Surveillance footage shows him arriving at the scene in a black Porsche Macan, attacking Mena, and then taking Mena's shoes.

Mena was transported to HCA Florida Kendall Hospital for emergency surgery. Zubigaray's bond was set at $20,000 with house arrest conditions, and he has been ordered to stay away from the victim. His arraignment is scheduled for April 28. The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is encouraged to contact Miami-Dade County Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.
