Early in the morning on March 6, a woman was the victim of an armed robbery in St. Louis Place, specifically behind the Archway Commons Apartments. At approximately 4:45 a.m., as reported by the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, two men approached her brandishing guns while she was on her way into her residence.
The victim, aged 29, identified one of the assailants as a 27-year-old man known to her. She reported that he forcibly took her purse, which held her money. The criminals made their escape in a dark-colored SUV that was parked behind the building. Thankfully, through the traumatic encounter, the woman managed to come out physically unharmed.
Currently, the District 4 police are actively investigating the robbery. They have not yet made any arrests, and details of the suspects' whereabouts remain unclear.
