The Wilson County Sheriff's Office is offering local students a chance to attend Camp Victory, a free three-day event focused on skill-building for real-world situations. The camp, open to 5th through 8th-grade students, will run from June 4 to 6 and will cover topics such as anti-bullying, online safety, self-esteem, conflict resolution, teamwork, and the juvenile justice system.

According to the Wilson County Sheriff's Office Facebook page, Camp Victory will take place from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM each day. The program aims to help students develop confidence, stay safe, and understand how to positively contribute to their communities. To be eligible, students must have a satisfactory attendance and disciplinary record. The camp is limited to 50 students, so early application is recommended, with the deadline set for May 16.

For more information or to apply, parents and guardians can contact SRO Allen Carver via email or consult their school’s SRO. Further details are available through the Wilson County Sheriff's Office's Facebook post.
