A larceny case out of Milford, Massachusetts, has led to the arrest of a former employee at Milton CAT. The Milford Police Department informed the public via social media that 48-year-old John Denaro is facing charges after an investigation into a missing "Engine Roll Over Stand," valued at $25,358, from Milton CAT's headquarters.
According to the social media announcement made by the Milford Police Department, the theft was reported on Monday, March 17, but it wasn't until the end of March that authorities linked Denaro to the crime. Through cooperation with Milton CAT, the Milford Police Detectives, placed the finger on Denaro, leading to the recovery of the stolen tool at his dwelling on Tuesday.
In a demonstration of civil service and diligence, Milford Chief Of Police Robert Tusino commented, “This is another example of the Milford Police Patrol Division and Detective Bureau working tirelessly to solve crimes that not only affect quality of life but also the quality of commerce in the commonwealth,” according to the Milford Police Department. These words speak to a broader commitment within the local force, not just to public safety, but also to the economic well-being of the area.
Denaro, who is now charged with larceny over $1200, a serious offense, sees himself at the center of a narrative that touches on crime, economics, and justice in this close-knit Massachusetts town. While the suspect has been charged, the police department's notice concludes with a reminder that all suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
