The department boasts a starting pay of $65,000 for entry-level officers and $68,000 for P.O.S.T. Certified, or lateral officers.
According to the Franklin Police Department, benefits to sweeten the deal include a 4-day work week, a take-home vehicle, and a policy that permits tattoos and beards on duty. Added employee perks encompass college tuition reimbursement, a shift differential, and an excellent benefits package. Multiple specialized opportunities are also available in units such as SWAT, FLEX, and the Honor Guard.
