
Hendricks County, Indiana residents are invited to discuss their opinions on proposed stop signs at an upcoming public hearing. The Board of Commissioners is opening the floor to community input on Tuesday, May 13, at 9:00 a.m. Interested parties should make their way to the Commissioners' Meeting Room at the Hendricks County Government Center, located at 355 S. Washington Street, Suite 140, Danville, Indiana.
The proposed changes, which affect the intersections of Liberty Lane and Continental Drive, and Thorncrest Lane and Thorncrest Drive will introduce one-way stop controls. As per the official notice by the Hendricks County, Liberty Lane and Thorncrest Lane are the designated streets to receive stop signs, enhancing local traffic management. Those unable to attend the hearing in person can obtain a full copy of each proposed ordinance by visiting the Commissioners' Office, which is open weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., excluding holidays.
Committed to inclusivity, the Hendricks County Government has made provisions for individuals with disabilities in accordance with the American Disabilities Act of 1990. Special accommodations for participation in or access to County-sponsored public programs, services, and/or meetings require a notice of at least forty-eight (48) hours in advance.
