Join Councilman Pierre Frantz Charles for Earth Day Clean-Up at Claude Pepper Park in North Miami

North Miami's own Councilman Pierre Frantz Charles is hosting a clean-up event in Claude Pepper Park this Earth Day weekend. The District 4 Earth Day Clean-Up aims to spruce up the area, and it's a chance for residents to actively participate in the stewardship of their environment. The event is scheduled for tomorrow from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Volunteers are encouraged to join forces in a collective effort to beautify the park located at 1255 NW 135th Street. According to an announcement from the City of North Miami, all supplies for the clean-up will be provided. Participants just need to show up in comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes. 

Councilman Charles, who holds a Master of Education, appears to be focusing on combining civic engagement with environmental education.
