Kingsport Parks and Recreation Department has officially opened registration for the Kingsport Outdoor Volleyball League 2025 season, stretching from now through April 23. As noted on Kingsport's website, there's a league for almost everyone with categories ranging from 12U Youth Triples to Senior Co-ed Quads for the 50+ crowd.

Interested teams can choose to sign up for various leagues, including Women's Triples, Men's Doubles, and Co-ed Quads, to name just a few. Registration fees vary by team size, costing $40 for doubles, $60 for triples, and $80 for quads. There's an additional $2 fee for those playing who live outside the city limits, seeking to join in on the community fun. For youth leagues, eligibility is determined based on their age as of July 1, 2023.

The league's Program Coordinator, Nate Williams, is gearing up for another bout of outdoor volleyball excitement. "It’s time to get ready to bump, set, and spike your way into another exciting season of outdoor volleyball," Williams was quoted on Kingsport's official website. He also encouraged teams to "Gather your squad and hit the grass for another season of fun, competitive matches."

With games set to begin the week of May 5, all matches will be played at Legion Field, adjacent to the Civic Auditorium on Fort Henry Drive. More details on league schedules, rules, and equipment guidelines can be found on the Kingsport's website.
